The Traveling Sister guitar, # 35516 guitar made for Pat Metheny ( the first being # 33114). She is called Traveling Sister because of some special features to make it more 'road proof' for Metheny's world tours that have the guitars go through tremendous changes in temperature and humidity. Pat has been playing the Traveling Sister on tour since the start of the Quartet tour in 2016. Traveling Sister 8 is a 16 1/4 inch blonde guitar, cutaway, picture frame inlays handcut by Daniel in ebony 10 inch radius fingerboard, 24 3/4 inch scale, Honduras mahogany neck with soft-V profile and 22 frets, Charlie Christian Adjustable pickup, carved European spruce top, flamed maple back with braces, unique handmade brass plated tailpiece, Kluson waffleback tuners and 'Betty' style antiqued finish.
